How do I explain to all these poor souls that life can feel like a pile of crap if you allow it to be? And that if you don’t get to be thick-skinned enough, you’re going to remain a jerk your entire life?
It isn’t too seldom I come across teared-up characters wallowing in self-pity just because a few jerks shot their happiness away with a host of stiletto like criticisms.
So quit the self-imposed misery and face life the way I’ve always done. And it’s pretty much simple once you’ve tweaked your logic and sensitivities around a bit.
For all you amazing individuals who at times flounder around when your besties don’t sound like besties anymore, just deliberate for a moment on the manner in which I handle my life’s ‘tormentors’:
My life is my bandwagon and I’m both the Master and the Driver. Those who’ve hitched a ride on it will always be loved and served with the highest degree of integrity and commitment. Unquestionably!
However, there’s a couple of riders that come along with this magnanimous deliverance.
For one, while cruising with me, if you fall into a dilemma of not knowing whether you actually like me or not then, loving me or hating me is your problem and not mine! And you need to sort it out yourself as of yesterday. Don’t expect another packet of popcorn just to keep you oiled up and connected.
And two, while you traverse on my bandwagon if you tend to shoot your mouth off adding shades of ugly greys to my colorful little world, then you’re better off the carriage ASAP. No one is indispensable here. There’s over 8.4 billion people on planet Earth to reach out to and many of whom may like to jump in when you get bumped off.
Ah well. That’s how I’ve driven my bandwagon for 7 decades and let me tell you, whoa, it’s been one heck of a ride filled with love, laughter, and pride!!
