From the time – way back as far as I can possibly remember – I was the family’s ‘early bird’! I believe, it was so way back that my Mom used to tell the rest of us that I was her biological alarm because I would kick up a ruckus at 3 am every morning, even before I trundled myself out of her womb, eager to experience a world I could only hear behind those walls!!
Waking up at the Brahmamuhurtham hour, a moment spiritually known to us Indians exclusively, has always been the foundation behind my success stories meandering through the corridors of the corporate world, most enjoyably.
So let me share a morning in my life with you just to get you inspired:
🙏 The Brahmamuhurtham Hour – 3 am:
This is that phase of the morning which is deeply cosmic in nature. It’s at this moment when I meditatively dissolve into the Universe. It’s that yogic set of hours that connects my mind, body and soul with my super-conscious, enriching me with invaluable wisdom as I ride a bandwagon filled with knowledge from experiences of 7 wondrous decades of my life.
📕 The Journaling Moments: 5 am:
This is the time to pour out all my thoughts into my journal. Every bit of whatever crosses my mind. The abstract. The ludicrous. The creative. The critical. The humorous. The irritants. And eventually, the action to serve. Emptying the mind out exhaustively gives the ‘top floor’ of my head room space for newer information to romance with.
🏃 The Work Out Hour: 5.30 am:
This is the setting of my day’s mantra. This is a constant reliving of a teaching I’ve carried for over decades from my Dad:
“Son, every morning, jog into the rising sun. And when it rises, just remind yourself that you have only 12 hours ahead of you to be able to do something exemplary for the people who love you and for those who need you.”
That’s all it ever took for me to be successful in life as a professional and now as an entrepreneur and mentor.
Ciao for now. See you soon…
